On Nov. 7,
2008, God called one of His angels home. Donald was born July
2, 1941, to C. W. and Glenna Mae Wilson in Denison. He graduated
from Terrell High School and attended college in San Diego,
Calif. Donald was employed with the Safeway plant and the U.
S. Postal Service. He deeply loved the Lord and made sure his
family was taught the Word at Sunday school and church services.
During his
retirement years, he truly enjoyed caring for and helping
others in need of anything, being with his family and friends
on all occasions and celebrations, and he also enjoyed caring
for his yard and farm. His family was his heart, nothing was
more dear to him than family. Donald has left a shining example
of resilience, hope, tenacity, and loyalty to family. He will
forever be our HERO. We will always honor him a Husband, Daddy
and PaPa.
Donald was
preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, James Wilson.
He survived by his loving family, wife, Dorothy Potts Wilson;
