SHERMAN - Memorial services
for Beverly Jo Edmondson, age 61, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday,
September 16, 2011 at Community Baptist Church located at 300 S.
Maxey in Sherman. Pastor Charles Leslie will officiate.
Ms. Edmondson entered into eternal life on Sunday, September 11,
2011 at her home in Sherman,
Texas.
Ms. Edmondson was born September 13, 1949 in Denison, Texas to the parentage of James and Frenzetta
Edmondson. She attended Denison public schools. Beverly worked many
years for Johnson & Johnson and later in life as a claim processor
for Cigna Insurance Company, where she retired after 20 years of
faithful service.
"Baby Sista", as she was affectionately known, was a caring and
thoughtful person, who loved life and her family.
She is survived by her son, Willie Speed, III and wife Dana of Luella;
and daughters, Frenzetta Speed of Carrollton, TX. and Monica Speed Hughley and husband
Barry of Sherman, TX.; as well as three brothers, Carl Edmondson,
Luther Edmondson and Harlee Edmondson, all of Illinois; and grandchildren,
Braiden and Bailey Speed.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cravens Funeral Home, located
at 225 W. Brockett in Sherman.
